Sacramento’s Cheapest Houses

In a recent article, Sacramento Bee’s Phillip Reese joked that it’s now possible to buy a home in Sacramento for less than a Honda Accord.
His recent study showed that at least two dozen homes in the Sacramento region sold during the last three months for $25,000 or less, and more are coming onto the market almost daily.
We have sold two homes recently for under $35,000. Both of these were foreclosures, one a shortsale with Wachovia and another was a Fannie Mae Bank owned home. The second home is still in escrow, we are now working on getting bills and invoices to title from the City for the cost of boarding it up, putting a fence around it and securing it.
